1-La Cage aux Folles aka The G20

I wasn't there 5 minutes and 2 very friendly York Regional cops decided I needed to be questioned and have my ID checked and logged in.
Apparently I was "taking a little too long" looking around.
They quoted the "new law" that was secretly passed allowing them to demand ID or risk arrest.

2-An evening at La Cage

Was asked many times "what are you doing?"
It took everything I had to not respond "taking pictures"
Was told not to shoot the fence, not to shoot the buildings, was ignored, was chatted to, met new Police friends from across the country, including an RCMP from Vancouver on his first visit to Toronto.
Was even asked if my sandals were those comfortable cork ones?
Generally the mood was one of boredom with a hint of trepidation.
