It took everything I had to not respond "taking pictures"
Was told not to shoot the fence, not to shoot the buildings, was ignored, was chatted to, met new Police friends from across the country, including an RCMP from Vancouver on his first visit to Toronto.
Was even asked if my sandals were those comfortable cork ones?
Generally the mood was one of boredom with a hint of trepidation.
